Maldon Sharks Swimming Club, formerly Wentworth SC, was formed in 2003 with funding from the 'Awards for All Lottery' scheme. The Club is affiliated to E.C.A.S.A. (Essex Counties Amateur Swimming Association) and the A.S.A East Region.
We are a friendly but competitive club that prides ourselves in a great team spirit and will to succeed. We are frequently complimented on our clubs team spirit and how supportive each member is to one another. With an ever increasing membership the Club is proud of its members who always strive to improve and give their best at every event. We have a constantly improving group of swimmers and have had many recent successes, finishing 12th overall in the Essex mini-league plus having 7 swimmers from the club qualify for the Essex age group championships 2012. Also for the first time we have had 2 swimmers compete at the Eastern Region championships in Norwich.
